Darbk Tires: Our Nature

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Every National Day, car brands fill the screen with skylines, convoys and flags. Darbk sells tires, so it needed another stage: the road. On Saudi roads people help strangers without being asked, and when you thank them they all say «طبعنا», it's our nature. We wrote that answer into 3 short scenes and built the whole 2-minute film with AI, from research to the final cut.

Three roads, one answer

A dead battery at night. A coffee stall in the Asir fog. A phone that won't pay at noon. Three strangers help, and each one says «طبعنا».

54 films, one gap

We took apart 54 National Day car films, then ran 6 AI models on one question. Same flags, same skylines. The gap was the road, and the people on it.

A storyboard first

14 frames locked the story, with a master sheet for every face, truck and place. They also showed the problem: too clean for real people.

Frames and master sheets

The father, the farmer, the truck driver, the Actros, the Asir terraces and the Tuwaiq escarpment, each locked on its own sheet.

Six engines, one shot

We gave six image engines the same shot and the same prompt. GPT Image 2.5 won: real skin, creased cotton, a dusty pickup.

Frames that look photographed

Every key frame came from real-photo references, never from a generated image. Saudi faces, regional dress, the right trucks.

One frame per scene

Night, fog and noon, one approved key frame for each beat, every one built from real-photo references before it moved.

The frame starts to move

The approved key frame wipes into its Seedance shot. The look the engine test chose holds once the picture moves.

Dialogue that sounds Saudi

A thank-you, a price, a failed payment. The film lives on these few words, so Omni Flash voiced them in true Saudi dialect.

Every shot generated

Seedance 2.5 turned the frames into motion in 15 and 30-second generations. The edit cut them down to 2 minutes, and nothing in it was filmed.

One still per beat

13 stills from the finished film, one per beat, from the dead battery at night to the Actros pulling out.

The night jump-start

The first scene: a family's car dies on an empty desert road, and a stranger in a pickup stops to help.

Eight lines of dialogue

Only 8 lines are spoken in 2 minutes. The rest belongs to the road and a score made with Suno.

A film where nothing was filmed

54 films studied, 6 research models, one idea, 5 days. Made by Esnine from the first idea to the final cut.
